Volt Video Player

Problem: In 2016 blogging, especially recipe blogs began implementing video content into their posts. We wanted to A) give them a way to host their videos, and B) monetize those videos.

Solution: Evaluate existing video player solutions. Eventually, build our own to replace a partnered solutions.

Impact: Video Player delivered, Ad revenue received.

My Role: Sourced and qualified the initial video player form existing industry partner. Include the video player in our product offering and created the initial marketing material to lead a beta group of publishers. After launch, hired a product manager to take over video delivery as we looked to develop our own.
